Our community was sadly shocked Saturday morning to hear of the untimely death 
of Len Warren who has lived along on his farm 3 miles west and one mile south 
of town, since his wife died two years ago. Mr. Warren, a man highly respected 
in every way, had been in poor health for a long time and last Saturday morning 
when the milk truck that picks up his mild found a not asking him to come into 
the house for the mild. When he went into the house he found Mr. Warren dead 
from a self inflicted gun shot. Mr. Warren had no close relatives, one brother-
in-law in Ionia. No funeral arrangements made at this writing.
