WARREN
Doris Marie(Mills) Warren aged 87 of Muir, Michigan, passed away peacefully with
her family at her side on January 31, 2025. She was born July 12, 1937 in
Lyons,Michigan. She was the daughter of Stanley & Beatrice (Gillson)Mills.
Doris deeply loved her family and friends.One of her loves was to research her
family genealogy. She was a proud member of the General Society of Mayflower
descendants,The James Chilton Colony and the Daughters of the American
Revolution She was also a member of the United empire Loyalists Association of
Canada. With a banking career came college.Then, Smith's Industries a new
challenge, training the military to fix black boxes and yet a new career taking
money on the Florida Toll Roads.Finally, retirement!
She is preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Beatrice Mills, sons Larry
Warren, Stephen Warren & Russel Warren, DDs. She is also preceded in death by
her sisters Patricia Davis,Judy Woodbury & Shirley Ferris.
She is survived by her daughter (Sue) & Dan Guernsey, and her grandchildren Mark
& (Katie) Smalley, Kyle & (Deanna)Curtis, Brandon & (Heather)Berry,
Chris(Jennifer)Devereaux, Dustin Warren, and Joel & Madison Warren and several
Great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation
immediately following the service.
Once again the Mills Girls are together.
