After a long and serious illness Stephen Warren passed away at his home in
Otisco township, Sunday May 18, 1902.  He was born in Oneida Co., N.Y., Dec. 9,
1840, where he lived until the age of 21 and then moved to Wyona Co, where he
lived six years, and from there to his late residence in Otisco township where
he had lived with his mother until her death ten years ago, since then he has
lived alone.  He was somewhat of an eccentric old gentleman his staunch
companions being a dog and a cat.  The funeral services were held from the
Otisco church Wednesday afternoon, Rev. A.O. Carman officiating.  The remains
were taken to the Otisco cemetery.
