Lowell Journal, 21 Jan 1885

Charles H. Warren, father of Mrs. J. C. Train of this village, died at Train’s
Hotel on Wednesday afternoon Jan. 14, in the 76th year of his age.  Mr. Warren
was one of the early settlers of South Boston and was a highly esteemed citizen
and neighbor.  He came to So. Boston 29 years ago and for the last 15 years has
lived in Lowell.  The funeral services were held at Train’s hotel on Friday,
Rev. D. L. Eaton officiating.  The remains were taken to South Boston for
interment.
