Crosby B. Washburne, 85, died March 11 in Lansing.

He was born March 1, 1895 in Charlevoix and was the son of Albert and Dana 
(Crosby) Washburne.  He was a retired pharmacist and a third degree Mason.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dana Davis of Indianapolis, Ind. and Mrs. 
Nancy Washburne of Washburne Travel Agency in Lansing; nine grandchildren and 
three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Thursday, March 13, at 1:30 p.m. at the Neller Funeral 
Home in Portland, with Pastor Dow Chamberlain officiating.    Interment was in 
Danby Cemetery.
