Belding Banner-News, 12 Oct 1967

Miss Florence E. Washburn, 83, of Pilgrim Manor in Grand Rapids, died Saturday.
 Miss Washburn was born April 1, 1884, in Connecticut, the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Frederick Washburn.

A resident of Belding for more than 50 years, she was a member of the First
Congregational Church, Washington Club, Grand Rapids Women’s City Club, Belding
Ladies Literary Club, Thimble Club and Social Circle of the Congregational Church.

Surviving are one brother, Harold Washburn of St. Paul, Minnesota, and nieces
and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Fitzjohn-Courser Funeral Home, Reverend
Wilford D. Wood officiated.  Entombment was in River Ridge mausoleum. 
Pallbearers were Lee Ranney, Leonard Fitzjohn, Mark Tuttle, George Ranney,
William Davis and Ray Young.
