The Portland Observer, Wednesday, June 28, 1899
Harriet Washburn, wife of William Washburn, died at her home in Sherman, 
Wexford county, June 20th, from the effects of a severe attack of the grippe 
last winter.  The family formerly resided in Sebewa and the vicinity of 
Portland for 45 years before moving to Sherman.
