Mrs. Katherine Wasnick died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sylvester Moran, 
early Monday morning, at the age of 77 years.  Mrs. Wasnick was born at 
Daeres, Ont.  Her husband, Wendell Wasnick died 35 years ago.  Ten years later 
she and her children moved to Portland.  She is survived by four daughter, and 
one son.  They are Mrs. Joseph Spitzley, Mrs. Claude Plant, Ada Wasnick, Mrs. 
Sylvester Moran and Glenn Wasnick of Grand Rapids, is a step-son.  Two 
brothers and sic sisters live in Canada.  Funeral services were held Tuesday 
morning at St. Patrick church.  Burial was in Portland Cemetery.
