The Ionia Sentinel, Thursday, January 4, 1900

C. R. Waterbury received a telegram Tuesday from Glenn Waterbury saying his 
brother, Chauncey Waterbury, died suddenly that morning at his home in 
Ithaca.  Deceased was a long-time and respected resident of Ionia, but has 
resided at Ithaca for about 12 years past, where he was engaged in the real 
estate business.  He had been in poor health for two or three years past, and 
was 63 yeas of age.

The funeral services for Chauncey Waterbury will be held today at 2 p.m. from 
the residence of C. R. Waterbury, 218 West Lincoln avenue, Rev. E. M. Jeffers 
officiating.  Interment in Highland Park cemetery.
