Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard – Mon. April 23, 1928

Chester Earl Waterbury, son of the late Chauncey and Mrs. Emma I. Waterbury, 
died at Kalamazoo Sunday afternoon as the result of a blow on the head he 
received from a tree which he was assisting in felling. The funeral services 
will be held from the home of his mother, Mrs. Emma L. Waterbury, Lafayette and 
Jackson streets, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. Alfred Trenerry will be 
in charge of the services and the burial will be in the North Plains cemetery. 
Mr. Waterbury was born in Ionia, November 27, 1877 but has lived for many years 
in Kalamazoo. He leaves his mother, three brothers, D. J. Waterbury, of 
Lansing, M. G. Waterbury and W. C. Waterbury of Detroit, and a sister, Mrs. T. 
N. Brown of Ionia.
