Waterbury, who has for a long time been in poor health at her home on West Lincoln avenue, died Monday night at 6:45 o’clock. Heart failure was the cause of her demise. Mr. and Mrs. Waterbury have long been residents of Ionia and members of the First Baptist church. Mrs. Waterbury was a woman regarded highly and her death was not unlooked for as she had been confined to the bed and slowly failing for some time. Besides her husband she leaves one daughter, Miss Edna Waterbury, well known as a teacher of the Ionia schools, and one son, Rodney A. Waterbury, of Mt. Clemens, where he is a leading merchant of that city. He has been here most of the time the last two weeks on account of his mother’s failing condition. The funeral will be attended from the residence at 2:30 o’clock Thursday afternoon, Rev. E.E. Branch officiating. The place of interment will be announced later. [Transcriber's Note: There is a notation on the obituary card that she was buried in Highland Park Cemetery.] File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/ionia/obits/w/waterbur6472gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/mifiles/ File size: 1.6 Kb
