Ella May (Ludlow) Waters, Age 89 of Midland, passed away early Saturday morning 
April 2, 2005 at Nottingham Assisted Living.  The daughter of the late Harold 
and Dora (Borton) Frey, she was born in Sand Lake on November 1, 1915 where she 
resided most of her life until moving to Midland.  Ella was married to Harold 
Ludlow; together they worked hard on the family farm.  He died on March 31, 
1997.  On January 24, 1998 Ella married Glenn Waters.  She was a member of 
First United Methodist Church, enjoyed crocheting and gardening.

Surviving are her husband Glenn Waters; son, Harold Ludlow and friend, Zelda 
Cornwell of Hillsdale, daughter, Marlene (Jerry) Stilson of Cadillac; 6 
grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Loren (Violet) Frey of Sand Lake.

Ella was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Frey.

Funeral and committal services took place Monday, April 4, 2005 at First United 
Methodist Church.  Rev. Dr. Charles Keyworth officiated.  Interment was in 
Easton Twp. Cemetery.  Memorials may be offered to First United Methodist 
Church, MidMichigan Hospice and Alzheimer’s Association MidMichigan Chapter.  
Arrangements are under the care of the Wilson Miller Funeral Home 4210 N. 
Saginaw Rd., Midland.
