Ionia Sentinel, 14 Jan 1963

Albert Waters, 90, of Muir, died at 12 noon Sunday at Lowery Nursing home after 
an illness of two and one-half years.

He was born November 18, 1872 in Washtenaw county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. 
Richard Waters, and was married to Minnie Krueger of North Plains,  He was a 
farmer and had lived in the Muir area 60 years.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Bernice Randall of route one, Muir; one son, 
Floyd Waters of Lansing; nine grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 10 great-
great-grandchildren and a niece, Mrs. Lulu Rice of DeWitt.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Muir Presbyterian church with 
burial at North Plains cemetery.  The Rev. Simon Hocking will officiate.  The 
body will be at Shaw Rivett funeral home in Muir until noon Wednesday.
