Arthur Watkins, 90, died at his home on West Riverside Drive, Sunday evening 
about 10:15 o'clock after seven months illness. 

He was born August 8, 1856, in Oakland county, November 23, 1886, he married 
Myrtle Fleming of Ionia. He has lived in Ionia county most of his life. He was 
employed by the Stafford company for twenty years and previous to that he did 
farming.

He is survived by his wife, five sons, William of Kingston, Bert of Flint, 
Charles of Ionia, Perry of Lansing, and Leo of Saranac; a sister, Mrs. Bert 
Fleming of Lansing; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held from the Boynton funeral home Wednesday at 2 p.m. 
with the Rev. A.R. Kuehn officiating. Interment will be at the Easton cemetery.
