Ionia Daily Standard - Saturday, July 25, 1908

Mr. Juliette Watkins died at 4:30 last evening, after a severe illness of four 
or five months. Her age was 82 years. She had been a resident of Ionia county 
26 years, coming here from Oakland county, where she belonged to a pioneer 
family. Her husband, Henry Watkins, died eight years ago at the home in Easton. 
She leaves two sons and one daughter; Arthur Watkins, Ionia; Grand Watkins, 
Detroit, and Mrs. G.B. Fleming. She had made her home with the latter for many 
years and the funeral will be held there, 418 High street, at 1 p.m. Monday, 
service by Rev. Dr. Cogshall. Interment, Easton cemetery.
