Hastings Reminder, 1 May 1990

Nadia N. Watson, 65, of 6891 Tischer Road, Lake Odessa and formerly of Lansing 
passed away Tuesday, April 24, 1990 at Pennock Hospital.  Mrs. Watson was born 
on February 9, 1925, the daughter of Eugene and Dorthea (Ferney) Wickenheiser.  
She graduated from the Lansing Central High.  She was married to Joseph T. 
Watson, 1950 in Lansing.  He preceded her in death November, 1986.  She was an 
Agent for AFL-CIO Union, retiring in August of 1985.  She was a partner with 
her daughter at Delton House Country Crafts in Delton.

Mrs. Watson is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Hal (Roxenne (Jenie) Maxson of 
Hastings and Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Amsbury of Delton; one son and daughter-in-
law, Don and Peggy Watson of Lansing; mother, Dorthea Wickenheiser of Lake 
Odessa; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, April 27 at the Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake 
Odessa with Rev. Daryl Elms and Rev. Kenneth Garner officiating.  Burial was at 
the Clarksville Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Barry 
County Community Hospice or the Crippled Children’s Foundation.
