The Ionia Daily Standard, Thursday, November 8, 1917

Mrs. E. E. Watts, 71 years old, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank 
LaDow of Grand Rapids.  The body will be brought here on the 7:08 train 
tomorrow morning and will be taken directly to Highland Park for burial.

Subsequent Publication: Friday, November 9, 1917

The remains of Mrs. E. E. Watts arrived in Ionia this morning and were taken 
directly to Highland Park for burial.  Accompanying the body here were Mrs. 
Cora McMullen of Monmouth, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. M. McCrickett of Detroit, Mr. 
and Mrs. F. A. Gray, Mr. and Mrs. Frank LaDow and Mr. and Mrs. W. Watts of 
Grand Rapids.  Mrs. G. J. Kerscher of Toledo and Wm. Foster of Pittsburg, 
Kansas.
