The services were conducted by Rev. Donald V. Carey, rector of Grace Episcopal church and burial was in Detroit Tuesday afternoon with services conducted by Damascus commandery at the grave in Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Waugh was a retired Pere Marquette engineer and had resided in Grand Rapids for twenty years. Previous to that time he had lived in Detroit. He was a member of Damascus commandery, Knights Templar, of Detroit Consistory and of Moslem Shrine. Mr. Waugh was the son of Thomas J. Waugh, at one time station master in Ionia for Detroit, Lansing and Northern railroad, and he resided here for many years, starting his railroad career here. His first wife was Miss Susan Garrity of Ionia, a sister of the late Mrs. Edward F. Gallagher of Ionia and of Mrs. James Scully of Detroit. Mrs. Catherine Vosper, Fred and Frank Gallagher are niece and nephews. Surviving Mr. Waugh is his wife, Charlotte, of Grand Rapids.
