Burial of Mrs. Arundel Waugh.

The funeral service of Mrs. Arundel Waugh, attended at the Church of SS Peter & 
Paul, Sat. morning, called forth a number of friends of the deceased and of the 
family which filled the spacious audience room of that church. The high mass by 
Rev. Fr. McCarthy was made impressively a simple, in harmony with the modest 
life of the deceased.

The carriers were; Messrs. A. J. Hayes of Detroit, James Scully, Patrick 
Barrett and Edward F Gallagher of this city, all brothers-in-law of the good 
woman, the light of whose happy life it is felt went out all too soon.

The floral tributes of love and esteem were many and extremely beautiful, 
including set pieces from the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, Railway 
Conductors, Knights of Columbus and Ladies Auxiliary, employees of the Fyfe 
store, and from J. R. Hayes, Detroit.

There were present from out of the city, A. J. Hayes and wife, daughter 
Adelaide and son Will, Mrs. Frank Hayes, Mrs. George Phillips, Thomas Hayes, 
Mrs. George Phillips, Thomas J. Waugh, John J. Waugh, John Garrity and Frank 
Gallagher, all of Detroit, Mrs. William Fisher of Erie, Pa., and Mesdames John 
McKay, Gilbert C. Allen and Robert Bryant all of Grand Rapids.
