WAYNE
Frances Carolyn Wayne, age 73, of Ionia, passed away on Monday, September 
16th, 2019 surrounded by family. The daughter of Willie Harold Crider and 
Myrtle Mae Rickenbacker, she was born on December 17th, 1945, in Eloree, 
South Carolina. Carol was one of seven siblings; Helen Crider-Williams, 
Willie "Buddy" Crider, Addie Mae Crider, Patricia Felder, Lois Heath, Robert 
Crider and Linwood Crider.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Richard Wayne; daughter 
Cheryl Wenzel; and son Jason (Denise) Wayne; four grandchildren, Dustin 
(Jordan) Wenzel, Alicia (Dylan) Van Liere, Dylan (Brittany) Wenzel and Rachel 
Wayne; two great-grandchildren Mackenzie and Colton.

Carol was a loving homemaker whose family and friends meant the world to her. 
Carol suffered many health complications through the years but never 
complained and never quit battling for her family's sake. 

Carol had many interests and hobbies throughout her life. She loved bowling, 
painting, gardening, reading, and her favorite activity, dancing with
Carol loved her family and treasured them. She was a listening ear and a 
Prayer warrior for everyone she met. She was one of those rare people whom 
you liked the first time you met her. Carol was gracious and humble her whole 
life and had a great sense of humor. Carol devoted her life to her family.

Simply put, she was the most kind, giving and loyal wife, mother, 
grandmother, aunt and friend any of us, would be blessed to know. Carol would 
say. "I luv a u" in her own special way. She will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Carol's life will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m on Sunday. 
October 13, 32019 at Sherwood Forest Community Room, 1133 Yeomans St, Ionia 
MI 48866. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place. To sign Carol's
