Born in Collins the son of Henry and Elizabeth Bush Weatherwax of New York State, he moved to Ionia while still a young child. Most of his life he lived at 218 Adams street and was employed for 37 years at the Pere Marquette car shops in Ionia. He later worked at a steam plant at the Michigan state hospital. Four years ago he moved to the Warren Ellison farm in Easton township. He was the last member of a family of four brothers and one sister. Surviving are the wife, Mary, and one son, John Henry, at home. Funeral services will be held from the Bradley funeral home on West Washington street at 8 a.m. Wednesday and at 9 a.m. from SS. Peter and Paul church. Rev. Fr. John S. Fons will officiate and interment will be at Mt. Olivet cemetery.
