Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Thursday, Nov. 15, 1956

Mary A. Weatherwax, 87, of 218 Adams street, died Wednesday afternoon at the 
Ionia County Memorial hospital. She had been a patient there since Tuesday 
morning.

She was born August 24, 1869 in Dowsberry, England, the daughter of Michael and 
Catherine Feeney. When about four years of age she came to Ionia from London, 
Canada. She was married November 24, 1890 to Jesse Weatherwax. 

Mrs. Weatherwax was a member of the SS. Peter and Paul church and Rosary 
society of Ionia.

She is survived by one son, John.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 9 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul church 
with the Rev. Fr. John Fons officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Rosary will be said Thursday evening at 7:30 at Myers funeral home.
