The Portland Observer, Thursday, December 31, 1931

Mrs. Frank Weaver, 66, died Monday night at her farm home northeast of 
Portland following an illness caused by a stroke suffered some time ago.  
Funeral services were held from St. Patrick’s church this forenoon with burial 
in Portland cemetery.  

Mrs. Weaver was born in Lansing.  Before her marriage to Mr. Weaver she was 
Norah Carew.  Besides the husband she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. 
Marie Willis, of Portland; Mrs. Marian Donovan, of Iowa; Mrs. Wilfred Ware, of 
Lansing; and a son Carew.
