Belding Banner – Thurs. Sept. 2, 1897

Miss Bertha Weaver died at the residence of Mrs. Moffit, Monday afternoon, aged 
19 years of consumption. She came here over a year ago from Ionia where she had 
worked in the family of G. H. Allured and labored for a while in one of the 
silk mills but being a victim of that dread disease soon had to give up her 
position. She was a niece of Jacob and Myron Weaver and had berm many friends 
in this city. The funeral took place yesterday, her remains being taken to 
Shiloh for burial by her former employer, Mr. Allured.
