Daily Standard - Friday, Nov. 24, 1911

Chas. Weaver, recently taken to the Traverse City State Hospital, died there 
yesterday. The telegram announcing his death was  received here last night, and 
the body is to be brought here on this evening's train. His wife died only a 
few weeks ago and his daughter, Miss Bertha Weaver, is living on Adams street. 
Funeral on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock, from the late home on Adams street. 
Rev. M.M. Callen will officiate. Interment in Oak Hill.

Charles Weaver, colored, long-time resident of Adams St., was taken to Traverse 
City Friday, by officers Lowrey and VanGeisen, upon order of probate court.
