MARY WEAVER DIED TUESDAY
Mrs. Mary Weaver, 96, pioneer resident of the Elmdale area, died at the home of 
her daughter, Mrs. Leon Howk at Freeport, Tuesday night. She had resided at the 
Howk home since the death of her husband Daniel in 1946 and had been an invalid 
for several years because of a spinal injury.

The Weavers had celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary shortly before his 
death. 

Besides Mrs. Howk she is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. Pamela Draper 
of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Nellie Krause of Alto and Mrs. Effie Parker of Freeport, 
and grand children.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 at the home and 2:30 at the Bowne 
Mennonite church with burial in the church cemetery.

Beattie funeral home at Clarksville had charge of arrangements.
