      MELVIN EARL WEAVER

Died September 13,2025-age 90 of Ionia.
Born August 1, 1935 in Ithaca, son of Donald & Bernie Irene (Darling) Weaver.
Attended school in Ithaca before graduating at Harrison High School.
He went to GMI in Flint for his Tool & Die, Ferris State University, receiving 
his Bachelors & finally Central Michigan University for his Master's in 
counseling.
Mel married Betty Jean Whittaker June 29, 1957 in St.Johns.
He loved music & had many copyrights, & was referred to as "Music Waver".
Survived by his wife Betty Weaver of Ionia, children, Michael John (Lucy) Weaver 
of Portage, Linda (Ronald) Thebo of Caledonia, Rhonda (Steve) Bittick of 
Dripping Springs,Texas & David Weaver of Ionia.
Grandchildren, Alexandra (Megan Chwee) Weaver-Chwee, Nicholas Weaver, Larenzo 
Weaver, R.J. (Kelly) Thebo II,Rebecca (Scott) Hager, Luke Weaver & Mikenzie 
Weaver, Great-grandchildren, Alan Hager, Lyla Hager & Ronald J. Thebo III.
Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Richard & Harold,, sister Betty 
Greene Weaver & great-granddaughter Alayna Hager.
Cremation has taken place & will be no service.
Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
