Webber died at her home at 222 East Main street Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. following a stroke she suffered Monday. She had been in poor health for two years. She was born September 11, 1863 in Rusleford, New York. Her father died in the Civil War. She was graduated from the Genesee Normal school at Genesee, New York, and taught school in Fultonville and Oneida, New York. In 1893 she was married to George W. Webber and had lived in Ionia since. Their only child, Maxwell, was killed in an automobile accident in 1937. She had been an active member of the Presbyterian church and was always interested in civic affairs. Friends may call at the home, 111 East Main street, Thursday evening. Funeral services will be held from her home Friday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. A. J. Westmaas officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park cemetery.
