She was 32 years of age, and has been a life long and well known resident of our city. She leaves besides her mother, Mrs. Catharine Hackett, one son, Wallie Webber, and one sister, Mrs. W.L. Barnes. The funeral will be held today. Thursday, May 31, 1900 The funeral for Mrs. Bell Webber was attended from the mother's home, Hackett block, at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. The service was conducted by the Rev. W.H. Thomas, D.D., of St. Johns Episcopal church. Mrs. Clifford Parsons and Mrs. Edward R. Bailey, of the Episcopal choir, sang. The interment was in Highland Park cemetery. The carriers were Dr. Will L. Barnes, Raymon L. Barnes, Ed. R. Bailey, Herbert B. Webber. The remains of the deceased were encased in a casket covered with gray plush. Upon it was a profusion of the choicest of the season's flowers, kind testimonials from friends of the deceased. The remarks by Dr. Thomas were very appropriate and consoling. Mrs. Webber was an Ionia girl, born and brought up in this city. Her disposition was full of brightness and sunshine and those who knew her best admired her and sympathized with her in her long illness. She was never strong nor did she enjoy the best of health. For a long time she found it necessary to battle against consumption, to which disease she finally succumbed. She had been confined to the house most of the time for a year past, the last time she was out being about six weeks ago. Additional Comments: Mrs. Geo H.
