Weber, died at the home of his parents in this village last Wednesday forenoon, aged 18 years. The young man had been sick but a few days, and almost up to the our of his death had not been considered dangerously ill. Realizing that his end was rapidly a approaching, and being conscious all the time, he requested his father to hold him in his arms and he died in his father's embrace. The disease of which he died is said to have been peritonitis-an affection of the covering of the stomach. People who have passed the summit of life's hill are expected to die; but when a young person, full of life, with a bright and happy prospect before him passed suddenly into the unknown, it seems harder. The funeral services were conducted from the residence on Friday afternoon, Rev. S.G.Anderson officiating. Additional Comments: Portland Cem., Sec.EMD-#416-Row 22 Portland,Mich.
