Thomas F. Weber, 77, of Pewamo passed away on Sat., Sept. 8, 2001.

He was born on Dec. 26, 1923 in Westphalia, the son of Henry and Clara 
(Schafer) Weber.  Mr. Weber was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was 
a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II.

He retired from Fisher Body and loved painting, fishing and his rose garden, 
but he especially loved his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald; sisters, Josetta 
Klein and Marjorie Smith; and son-in-law, Raymond Darling.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Mary Lou; five daughters, Susan Darling, 
Sandra Weber, Linda (Robert) Werner, Brenda (special friend, Mike Peterson) 
Pline and Sally (Jeff) Thelen; two sons, Thomas (Maggie )Weber and Michael 
(Lisa) Weber, 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Edward 
(Caroline) Weber, Anthony (Ann) Weber and Clare (Dora) Weber; sisters, Eleanora 
Klein and Sr. Theresa Weber; sister-in-law, Jeanette (Arnold) Pohl; many nieces 
and nephews.

The mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Charlon Mason, 
pastor at 11 a.m., Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rite of Committal 
following at St. Joseph Cemetery.  Military graveside honors will be provided 
by the VFW Fowler Westphalia Pewamo Post 3733.  The family received friends on 
Sunday and Monday at St. Mary’s Funeral Chapel.  The rosaries were prayed on 
Sunday and Monday.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral 
Home, Portland.
