Ionia Shopper's Guide - Sat. October 22, 2022

                                       WEBER

Rosalind Jayne Weber age 75 of Ionia,MI passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022. 
She was born on January 21 1947 in Ionia, the daughter of Roger and Mary 
(Tuttle) Monger.

Rosalind attended Ionia High school, graduating with the class of 1965. She 
married Robert Weber on May 23, 1970.

Rosalind worked for MESC in Ionia and then w ent to work for Social Services in 
Grand Rapids, later returning to MESC. Then went to Department of Corrections, 
personnel department, where she retired. She was a member and past president of 
Sorority Beta Sigma Phi and a member of SERA Board of Directors. She was also 
involved with United Way. Community and family were very important to her. 
Rosalind was avid reader, enjoyed crosswords and taking vacations with her 
husband.

Surviving is her loving husband of 52 years, Robert Weber of Ionia; children, 
Roger (Lisa) Weber of Ionia and Rachel (John) Jacobsen of Battle Creek; 
grandson, Robert "Rob" Weber of Ionia and brother-in-law, Joseph Weber of 
Sparta.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, 
Marlene and Doyle McKenney; nephew, Andy McKenney; niece, Tracy Weber and 
sister-in-law, Ellen Weber.

Funeral services will be held at Lake funeral Home in ionia on Thursday, October 
20th at 11:00 AM with Pastor Nancy Patera officiating.Interment will be at 
Sunset Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 
PM and 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Those wishing may make memorial 
contributions to Beta Sigma Phi, Rave or Ionia County Animal Shelter. Online
