The services were conducted by Rev. M. D. Marshall and Dr. W. K. Spencer, Rev. Marshall giving the sermon and Ira Spencer offering prayers. Mrs. Thane Benedict and Mrs. G. M. Phelps sang, “O, Healing Hand,” and “Abide With Me.” Rev. Marshall took as the theme for his eulogistic remarks in the course of which he paid a high tribute to the character and worth of Mrs. Webster, ‘I have kept the faith” and enlarged upon the theme most fitting. The bearers were members of Mrs. Webster’s beloved church, Fred Cutler, Jr., A. B. Sibley, B. R. Ely, Harvey Kidder, Alex Minty and D. J. Campau. Mrs. Frances Sibley and Mrs. Lucy Kidd cared for the flowers, of which there were a great profusion among the beautiful pieces being remembrances from the fellow workers with Judge Webster at the courthouse, the Elks and the Hudson Motor Car Company of Detroit, where Miss Ruth Webster is employed. Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Miss Ruth Webster, E. S. Montgomery of St. Paul, a brother, Mrs. Judson Lee and daughter, Hazel of Saranac, and Ms. W. W. Vandevanter of Washington, D. C. Interment was in the Highland Park Cemetery in the family lot.
