She was the wife of the late Ionia county probate Judge Montgomery Webster. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Kauffman-Doughty funeral home. Subsequent Publication: Monday, November 24, 1975 Services for Mrs. Jessie Lee Webster, 90, formerly of 116 East Washington, will be conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. at First Presbyterian church. Rev. George Douma will officiate and interment will be in the family plot at Highland Park cemetery. Mrs. Webster died Friday at Lillington, N.C. She was born May 21, 1885, in Keene township, the daughter of A.J. and Marian Lee. She was married in Keene township in 1913 to Montgomery Webster and he died in 1962. She was a graduate of Ionia high school, Ypsilanti State Normal college, Berkeley college at Berkeley, Calif., and taught at the college level in California. She returned to Ionia as substitute teacher in the Ionia public school system. She was a member of First Presbyterian church of Ionia more than 60 years, and was past president of the Ionia Literary club and member of the Hall-Fowler Memorial Library many years. Among her survivors are two sons, Col. Montgomery Lee Webster of Raleigh, N.C., and Dr. William O. Webster of Fargo, N.D.; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. James A. Huges of Detroit and Mrs. Charles Sparks of Kissimmee, Fla. Family members will be at the Kauffman-Doughty funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial has been established for the First Presbyterian church of Ionia.
