Belding Banner-News, 4 Jun 1970

Funeral services for Edwy “Ike” Webster, 77, of 415 S. Pleasant Street were held
Saturday afternoon at Huffman Funeral Home.  Rev. Wilford Wood and Belding Lodge
No. 355 F&AM officiated at the services.  Interment was in River Ridge Cemetery.
 The Masons served as pallbearers.

Mr. Webster died June 4 at Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids following a
lingering illness.  He was born March 27, 1893 in Lakeview, the son of Charles
and Emma Webster.  He was married to Ida B. Hudson on May 4, 1916 in Belding. 
She died March 19, 1969.

A supervisor at Gibson Refrigerator Co., Mr. Webster was a life member of
Belding Lodge No. 355 F&AM and was also the eldest member of the Past Masters Club.


He is survived by two sons, Donald E. and Gerald W., both of Belding, one
brother, Ira Webster of Grattan; and five grandchildren.
