Wahneta G. Webster, 82, died Tuesday, June 25, 1996.  She was born May 27, 1914,
in Langston, the daughter of Jay H. and Cora D. Danford Nichols.

Mrs. Webster is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Carol Sue and Lyle
Morton of Portland; two grandchildren, Melanie and Joe Murphy and Merlin Miles;
two great-granddaughters, Breeanna Murphy and Mariah Miles; one brother and
sister-in-law, Max and Gilda Nichols of Greenville; and two sisters and one
brother-in-law, Rhoda and Norman Davis of Greenville, and Lucille Smith of
Waterford.

Funeral services will be held Friday 11 a.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman Company,
Neller Chapel, 210 Bridge St., Portland, with the Rev. Glenn E. Perry of
Portland First Baptist Church officiating.  Interment will be in Portland
Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the chapel today from 7 to 9 p.m.
 Those desiring may make contributions to Gideon International in memory of Mrs.
Webster.
