The Ionia Daily Standard, Friday, July 5, 1907

Oliver Wedge, a well-known pioneer resident, died this morning, at home of his 
brother George, 267 East Washington street, at age of 80.  Funeral at 2 p.m. 
Saturday, from residence; services by Rev. G. W. Moore.  Interment Highland 
Park.

Deceased leaves one brother and three sisters: George Wedge, and Mrs. George 
Harter, Mrs. John McCoy of Orange, and Mrs. Martin Malone.  He lived in the 
house on Jackson street, on same lot where he died, 54 years.
