Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 26 Jun 1972

Edward C. Wedge, 69, of 251 Lafayette died Saturday evening at Ionia County
Memorial hospital following an extended illness.  He was born in Ionia, November
15, 1902, the son of Edward and Hattie Wood Wedge and was a lifelong resident of
Ionia area.  He was a self employed painter.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Geraldine Palmatter of Ionia; six grandchildren
and eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Malokofsky and Mrs.
Jessie Foreman of Ionia.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at  Myers-Roetman funeral home. 
Rev. Gilbert Kohler will officiate and interment will be at Highland Park
cemetery.
