Ionia Sentinel Standard, 8 Jul 1946

Mrs. Emma Wedge, 78, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Sarah E. Converse, 708
West Main street, Sunday about 5:30 p.m. after an illness of several months.

She was born in England December 12, 1868, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred
Huggins.  She came to United States at the age of three and lived in the
vicinity of Palo.  In 1887 she married George E. Wedge.  To this union was born
one daughter, Marguerite, who died in 1934.  She was a member of the Church of
Christ and a member of the Mrs. Preston Sunday school class.

She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Sarah Converse.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 o’clock at the home of Mrs.
Converse, 708 West Main street.  Interment at Highland Park cemetery.
