Weekly Standard - Friday, Sept. 7, 1906

Sanford D. Wedge died Saturday at 1 o'clock. His age was 80 years, and he has 
been in feeble health several years. He was one of the early settlers having 
been a resident of Ionia for more than half a century. Funeral at residence on 
E. Front street, at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon; services by Rev. B. Webster 
Moore. Interment Highland Park.
