Mrs. George Weed Dies In Hospital At Traverse City Friday

Mrs. George A. Weed, 66, of Lake Odessa, widow of the late G. A. Weed, died 
suddenly at the Traverse City State hospital Friday at noon.

Mrs. Weed came to Ionia county in 1887 with her husband.  They were the first 
persons to engage in business in Lake Odessa.  They had lived continuously 
there since that time until the death of Mr. Weed at Battle Creek sanitarium a 
year ago.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Charles S. Wright, of Grand Rapids, but now 
in the South, and one son, H. Vern Weed, of Grand Rapids.
