During their union two sons were born to them, both of whom are now numbered with the dead. She removed from Smyrna to Ithaca, Gratiot county, in 1878, where she resided about one year, and again returned to Smyrna, where she resided about one year, and again returned to Smyrna, where she resided until the winter of 1880, when she was married to Mr. Sylvenus Weed, whose residence is 4 ½ miles northwest of Greenville, and where she has since lived until her death, which occurred on Sunday, Feb. 12th. She died very suddenly, and disease of the heart is supposed to have been the cause. She leaves a husband and family and a large circle of friends to mourn her untimely death. She was ever a faithful and loving wife and a kind and devoted mother. She was known as a earnest Christian woman, whose heart and hand were open to the sick and needy.
