                            Hilda Ellen M. Weedmark

Hilda Ellen M. Weedmark, 95, of Belding entered God's grace peacefully at home 
Thursday morning April 17, 2008 under the loving care of her family and 
Heartland Hospice.

Hilda was born March 13, 1913 in Sidney the daughter of William and Emma 
Behrendt Belter.She was a longtime member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in 
Belding. In earlier years, Hilda ran a cafeteria at Gibson's in Belding and 
later operated an Adult Foster Care Home in Belding for 38 years before retiring 
in 1991. Hilda had a great love for family and friends and was always willing to 
help others. She had a great faith and belief in her Lord and Savior, Jesus 
Christ.

Hilda is survived by her children Nora (Leon) Van Harn of Michigan and Florida 
and Ella (Kieffer) and Doug Russell also of Michigan and Florida. She is also 
survived by 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and 
hr special friend,Ira Johnston of Belding.

She was preceded by her parents; a son, Robert Weedmark; a daughter, Dolores 
Weedmark; her brother, Arthur Belter and two sisters,Ella Prochnow and Edna 
Jensen.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Lutheran Church with 
Pastor Tim Loewe officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 .m at 
Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Interment will be in Sidney Cemetery.
