R. Jack Weeks, aged 76, of Saranac, passed away May 25, 2009.

He was born Nov. 13, 1932 in Saranac, the son of Robert and Thelma (Wells) 
Weeks. He married Maggie Stedman, Nov. 5, 1951 in Saranac. Jack hauled milk for 
Michigan Milk for 43 years. He farmed the family farm all of his life.

Jack is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Maggie Weeks of Saranac; 
children: Vicki (Stub Mason) Warner of Saranac, Mike (Sheri) Weeks of Saranac, 
Sheryl (Larry) Williams of Saranac, Brian (Mandy) Weeks of Saranac and Chris 
(Kelli) Weeks of Saranac; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and sister 
Doris Buekema of Saranac.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Vivian.

Memorial services will be held Friday, 11 a.m. at Galilee Baptist Church with 
Rev. Andy Moren and Rev. James Frank officiating. The family will receive 
friends and relatives Thursday 4-8 p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac. In 
lieu of flowers you may make memorial contributions to Ionia Area Hospice.
