ARLEEN WEEKS, 90
Arlene Alice Weeks, 90, of Ionia, passed away Oct. 13, 2017.

She was born on June 22, 1927, in Grand Ledge, the daughter of Lewis and 
Lydia (Towne) Sharp. Arlene was a graduate of Saranac High School, Class of 
1935. She worked as a switchboard operator for General Tire for 45 years. She 
loved traveling, crocheting, and snowmobiling.

Arleen is survived by her sister, Joann Brechting of Rockford; several nieces 
and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 
parents; brother, Donald Sharp; sister, Eleanor Lindsley; brother-in-law, 
John Brechting.

Funeeral services will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at 4 p.m. at the Lake 
Funeral Home in Ionia with Pastor Nancy Patera officiating, Luncheon to 
follow.

Visitation will be 2  p.m. until time of service. Those wishing may make 
memorial contributions to Easton church.
