Belding Banner-News Thurs.December 31, 1970

                                 ELMER G.WEEKS

Funeral services for Elmer Grant Weeks, 81, of 420 Lewis street will be held 
Wednesday, December 30,  at the Huffman Funeral Home. Mr.Weeks died December 27, 
1970 at the Blodgett Hospital.

Rev.Wilford Wood will officiate at the services.Interment will be in the 
Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mr.Week was born in Grattan township February 20, 1889 the son of John and 
Jessie Russell Weeks.He was a retired electrical engineer for the Spaulding 
Electric in Detroit.He was a member of the V.F.W. and served in the U.S.Navy in 
World War I.

he is survived by one son, Russell Weeks of San Francisco, California; two 
sisters,Miss Nina Weeks of Belding and Mrs.Clifford Knapp of Madison, Wisconsin; 
a nephew,John Weeks of Grand Rapids and two grandchildren.
