The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 30, 1990


Dean R. Weeks, 22, of Bernardsville, NJ, died March 18 in Livingston, NJ, 
after a lingering illness.  He was born in Ionia June 22, 1967 to Roger and 
Marcia Ward Weeks.  He graduated from Lowell High School in 1985.  He was a 
member of the FFA.  He attended Elmdale Church of the Nazarene. 

He is survived by his parents of Clarksville; his grandparents, Harold and 
Dorothy Alderink of Clarksville, J.B. and Lorraine Ward of Morley; one 
brother, Douglas Weeks of Clarksville; two sisters, Michelle and Kimberly 
Weeks, both of Clarksville; his fiancée, Kirsten Dugan of New Jersey.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Saranac Community 
Church, with the Rev. Stanley Hagemeyer and the Rev. Gregory Freed 
officiating.  Burial will be in South Boston Cemetery.  The family will 
receive friends and relatives Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at 
the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.  Anyone wishing may make contributions to 
the Saranac Community Church or the Church of the Nazarene.
