The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, January 16, 1963


Ara Daniel Weeks, 75, died at 4 a.m. Wednesday at his home in Keene township.  
He was born December 20, 1888 in Kent county. 

Survivors include two sons, Robert B. Weeks of Keene township, and Charles S. 
Weeks of Saranac; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, 
Mrs. Judson Heitman of Lowell, and Mrs. Frank Batchelor of Lake Odessa; two 
brothers, Clinton Weeks of Ionia, and Leon of Grand Rapids.

Funeral service will be at Morris funeral home Friday at 2:30 p.m. with the 
Rev. Karl Pike of Galilee Baptist church officiating.  Burial will be at 
Saranac cemetery.
