Ionia Sentinel Standard, 27 Dec 1967

Mrs. Elma L. Weesner, 71, of 284 East Main, Saranac died suddenly Tuesday at
Ionia County Memorial hospital following a brief illness.  She was born March
21, 1896 in Berlin township, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Branson and lived
in Ionia county until her marriage October 23, 1916 in Grand Rapids to Ben
Weesner.  She traveled with her husband for a paper making firm in 48 states. 
She is also a member of Rebekah lodge.

Besides her husband she leaves a sister, Mrs. Wilma Haunter of Saranac and a
brother, John Branson of California and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Morris-Roetman funeral home in
Saranac with Rev. James Frank officiating.  Burial will be in Saranac cemetery.
