The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, July 19, 1954


Funeral services for Mrs. Duana Weiers, who died Wednesday at 5:45 p.m. at her 
home at 13 Stevenson Place, were conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at 
Myers funeral home with the Rev. H. S. Ellis of Belding officiating.  
Pallbearers were Maurice Weiers, Edlin Weiers, Richard Weiers, Gerald Weiers, 
Jack Lepper, and Francis Lepper.  Interment was in the family lot at Saranac 
cemetery.

Those who attended the services from away were Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Weiers and 
family, Mrs. Minnie Hall, Mrs. Lillian Corbeau and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gilmore of 
Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. Wallie Weiers and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Weiers of 
Sheridan; Mrs. Lovisa Lepper, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lepper, Alden Lepper, Francis 
Lepper, Mr. and Mrs. Abe Lepper and Jerry Lepper of Union City; Mrs. Deliah 
Buche of Lake Odessa; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Luplow, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Tanner, 
Mrs. Steve Curtiss and Mrs. Delbert Tanner of Berlin; Mr. and Mrs. John 
Handlovits and family, Mr. and Mrs. Edlin Weiers and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Spear 
of Saginaw; Mr. and Mrs. Roger Frederick of Kalamazoo; Gerald Weiers and Mr. 
and Mrs. Eugene Lepper of Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. John Clark of Greenville; Mr. 
and Mrs. Clair Gilger and family of Ceresco; Mr. and Mrs. Troy Morin and son 
and Mrs. Dennis Lange of Dearborn; Robert Tanner of Chicago; Fred Tanner of 
Marne; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Brown of Banfield; Howard Rising of Saranac and Mr.
